Binocular was staying on all the time and was in front 10 yards after the line. I just think if McCoy had pushed the button a little sooner he could well have won.

I know people said he went too soon last year etc but he waited till the started the climb up the hill before really pulling his whip through, seemed a little too late.

Not making excuses as it was a cracking race, just a thought as I do think he could have won it.

Did anyone watch the split-screen on RUK just then? Based on that Celestial Halo has run an absolutely huge race!

New the fate of OSANA after the 1st hurdle , has a horse ever made all to win that race ?? , irrational i know but i HATE it when a selection tries to make all.
KATCHIT just wasn't the same horse as last season .

Great race and congrats to anyone who had the winner , small comfort that my fears for the Fav were proved correct , but with another season under his belt , then i think BINOCULAR could get his revenge next year .

i agree with you thommo, I thought Ap was excellent in the previous race but his judgement was just not right in this one. Bin struggled last year to get up the hill but this year he is a different horse.

Think Make A Stand did too. Fantastic race,picked 3 out but still didn't have any in the first three

although my selection of the winning distance being less than a length paid off. I would certainly think Binocular could come back next year & win it but it just goes to show nothings nailed on in this game.
