Top Festival Trainer

Anyone got any thoughts on this? I've taken the odds down below from the PaddyPower website, and I've a sneaky feeling one or two of these are too large?

Selection Current Odds
P Nicholls 8-11
W Mullins 4-1
N Henderson 5-1
A King 8-1
D Pipe 10-1
J O'Neill 20-1
P Hobbs 33-1
N Meade 40-1
J Howard Johnson 50-1
N Twiston Davies 50-1

Couldn't possibly have Paul Nicholls at that price, Willie Mullins has Cousin Vinny, Cooldine, the bumper, and a couple others I've forgotten at his disposal. But the couple that catch my eye are Nicky Henderson @ 5-1 and especailly Alan King @ 8-1.

Alan King always does well at The Festival, and even Choc Thornton as top jockey you can also get 8-1 for which is good value.

This year King has Walkon, Medermit, Karabak, Trenchant, Katchit, Over Sixty, Santia, and not forgetting Voy Por Ustedes.

There probably are a few others I've also missed, but that list above could make 8-1 seem rather steep come the end of Festival.

Thoughts?

Couldn't agree more, King is definetly the value at 8/1.

What a character he is!

Think you're spot on J with King though especially given the way his horses are running & it looks a tasty bet but 33's about Hobbs is interesting. He as got a host of runners lined up for the Festival, albeit the shortest priced one is 8/1, but he tends to grab a couple of wins somewhere over the 4 days.

Nicky Henderson is now evens and any price the rest. Well spotted Duke hope you're on

Jonjo probably has his best string ever at the meeting but unfortunately his win when they seem unfancied more than they do when they are )

Not sure where you get your information about Henderson being evens mate? He's still available at 5-1 with Paddy Power. I must admit to not going too big on either, but have availed £30 @ 5s, and £30 at 8s to keep the interest levels up throughout the week.
