| Do you know of the reason (if any) which Don't Push It has been kept to hurdles this term? I'm guessing originally they wanted to take advantage of his lower handicap mark over hurdles, and because he'd appeared to have lost confidence over the larger obstacles.
Granted he wasn't the best of jumpers by the look of things but he once looked a chaser of such promise that he was able to trouble Denman for a short while on only his second try over fences.
Perhaps now they're level weights on both his Hurdles & Chase form, after The Festival he might be given another chance over fences at somewhere like Aintree in the Melling Chase perhaps? |
