| GA's most wanted Join Date: Feb 2009 | I was wondering about this too ? Its got to surley effect overall times and would it go as far as having to create new standard times for those who do their own ? Not that its anything to do with speed rating but I can't help but wonder how if the Jumps is going to be affected far worse.I was also wondering wether their might be an angle to be exploited from it.I'm thinking staying chases (which are usually my favourite races to back in) could end up being a nightmare.Could we actually have situations where there are no finishers ? I think back to races like the eider last year where only 3 made it home and one of those took a five minute breather before jumping the last.Perhaps there would be an angle somewhere within spread betting on lack of finishers? I'm also thinking back to horses like Deano's Beano and I forget the name of Spooks wonder hurdler that likes to give everything a 50 length head start but he'd be a candidate too.Horses like these, the Jock's could use there 8 hits just to get them to go off I have the feeling we are in for some ridiculous scenes this winter ![]() |
