He's more than capable, whilst The Machine could throw in a stinker at any given time. 11/2 with Laddies seems to be more than fair, especially compared with the 4s on offer at WH. I also can't resist a teeny tickle at the 4-0 to MVG with Laddies at 125/1! Another outsider who looks to be a decent price is Kevin McDine, who takes on Adrian Lewis. 'Jackpot' has moved through the opening rounds with 100+ averages, but still doesn't convince me completely. He's very much the Spurs of the PDC - often flattering to deceive. He beat Wes Newton in the 2nd round, but had Newton taken one of his three darts at x16 for the 3rd set then things could have been very different. McDine hasn't broken the 100-average barrier at Ally Pally yet, but he showed determined battling qualities to get past Priestley in the 1st round, before dispatching Bates 4-0 in the 2nd round. Today's Bets 1.8pts McDine to bt Lewis [3/1 Skybet] 0.5pts McDine to win 4-1 [22/1 Lads] 0.5pts McDine to win 4-2 [10/1] Lads 2pts Van Gerwen to bt Wade [11/2 Lads] 0.5pts Van Gerwen to win 4-0 [125/1 Lads] 0.2pts Correct Score Yankee: Hamilton 4 Beaton 2 [7/2] Jenkins 4 Young 3 [6/1] Whitlock 4 Jones 1 [10/3] Taylor 4 Thornton 2 [6/1] Total 7.5pts Staked |

Have backed Hamilton ew for the event, just have sneaky ew fancy for him. Taylor does look unbeatable though. I like the look of Whitlock though, decent thrower when he gets going. Says he is still suffering from nerves though which puts me off a bit.. |

| i > u Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Agrihan | No joy whatsoever for me yesterday, Jackpot's 4-0 win just rounded things off!! On to today's action... Webster v Shepherd Shepherd has made it through to this stage despite not breaking the 80 mark for his 3-dart average yet. He'll need to add 10 spots on to that imo if he is to beat Webster this afternoon. Webster has progressed past 2 capable opponents so far and has enough to take care of Kirk too. There's little value in the prices available however with the layers looking to have it pretty much spot on. That said, the 'Most 180s' market looks to offer some value - with Shepherd being available at 15/8. Shepherd's accrued 8 x 180s so far in 32 legs. Whilst Webby's managed just the 2 thus far, coming in 43 legs. 2pts Shepherd Most 180s [15/8 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]] Whitlock v Jenkins I've been impressed with the Wizard so far - he's averaged 101 and 99 in his 2 matches so far, and he can hit the 100+ finishes. Jenkins is nothing if not a battler however, and he will definitely see this as a winnable tie. The Aussie has confessed to feeling a few nerves playing at Ally Pally for the first time, and The Bull will take advantage of that like a shot if it starts to affect him. This match is a total no bet so far as the match betting and handicap betting goes. The Total 180s market looks enticing though. Between them they've managed 17 x 180s in 73 legs so far. Even if this match goes 4-3 in sets with all legs going 3-2 and the final leg going to the 6-5 tie-breaker, that is 41 legs. On their 180 records so far you'd still expect no more than 10 between them, and that is going to the extreme of the possible legs available. The likelihood is that there will be maybe 30 legs if it's as tight as I expect. Sporting Index are offering the Total 180s at 12.2-12.8. The 12.2 looks a must-have sell in my opinion. 1pt Sell Total 180s @ 12.2 [Sporting Index] Stompe v Dudbridge Both players upped their performances considerably in the 2nd round from their 1st rounds. Stompe is surely only favourite as he disposed of King in the previous round, in all reality there is little between the two players ability-wise. There's nothing available that makes me think it is a good value bet in this match. No bet |

Few bets for tonight: Jenkins to beat Whitlock 4-1 or 4-2 @ 13/2 and 9/2 Jenkins match under 11.5 180s @ EVS LLoyd to beat Baxter 4-2 or 4-3 @ 7/1 and 5/1 Ray B to beat Painter 4-1 or 4-2 @ 7/2 and 3/1 |

| Flat Racing is for Girls! | Missed getting a bet on Webster for 4.0 and 4.1....so far he is tearing Shepherd apart.... Got Whitlock to win 4.1 and 4.2 Stompe to win 4.2 and 4.3 Baxter to beat Lloyd, what should be a great match....4.1 and 4.2 Wade should beat Hamilton....took him 4.0 and 4.1 Barney/Painter could have the potential to be a great match, but Painter can fold as quickly as Part/Mardle.....4.0 and 4.1 for me... Got them all in an ACCA Whitlock @ 4/5 Stompe @ 8/11 Baxter @ 1/2 Wade @ 1/4 Barney @ 2/5

(worcestershire) | biggest bet of the tournament tonight doubling up baxter and barneveld. also going to bet in play after the 1st few legs of wade v hamilton on 180`s hit in each leg. both big scorers and its been 2/1 for a 180 in each leg so far so should be a money maker. |

| Laying Kachina naps Daily Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: EIRE | Agree with you on Most of those Micky, my main bet of the day will be on Whitlock, think he has been outstanding so far, and im not overly impressed with Wade yet. So it will be a big win on Whitlock, and il probably do the correct scores, 5-2 and 5-3, 15/2 and 5/1 respectavely. Stompe was poor on his doubles the last day, and i think Webster will prevail, especially given the longer format. So i will be backing him.Same scorelines as above too i suppose. Barney looked VERY shaky the last night, and i think his health problems have affected his game and mental attitude towards it. Im willing to take him on too. Taylor and Lewis....How can i back against the Power...It will be a no bet match for me, but i will be willing on Lewis. In fact, il probably back Whitlock outright, and hope that lewis does Taylor!! |

| i > u Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Agrihan | Going against the grain really this afternoon, with most people fancying Wade, Stompe and Barney to fall. Just a small 0.2pt Lucky 15 on these correct scores Stompe 5-2 Wade 5-2 Barneveld 5-2 Taylor 5-0 Any one of them would mean a break even (or just shy) with the treble odds for one winner Good luck all |

Just layed at 2.54. Crazy.Still fancy Wade, so have left it so I just make £5 if Whitlock wins, but got £62 profit if Wade wins. 5-2 would do nicely for my lucky15 | ||||

| Laying Kachina naps Daily Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: EIRE | The most incredible match of darts i have ever seen!! Happy man, both scores up, but my main bet on Whitlock winning was the big one!! Baxter will now be a decent result if he can win, i have him in a Trixe with Webster and Whitlock, and a Double with Whitlock. |

| Flat Racing is for Girls! | Cant see past Taylor tonight, even though Webster is playing very well....thing is to put pressure on straight away and that was Lewis's downfall last night... CS Taylor 6.1 and 6.2 @ 5/2 & 7/2 Not often Barney is odds against in a match other than against Taylor.... Whitlock is playing out of his skin and will be a threat to Taylor sooner rather than later... Going against Barney for once...8/11 for the win and CS 6.3 and 6.4
