| The Iron Horse | So very sorry to hear this Tony, a very sad sad day. ![]() I know exactly how you feeling having lost my partner in crime of 13 years, two years ago and not a day goes by when I don't think about the little fella - they are like family and people don't realise just how attached you can get to our furry friends. If you've had the shittest day of your life at work, or you've done your bollocks on the horses or anything else has gone wrong in life, you'll always come home to that wagging tail and a dog happy to see you no matter what you've done the dog will never judge you, even if sometimes you are firm with the animal. I must say that is a fine looking beast Tony, and like mine has had a cracking innings and I'm sure you'll have done the best thing for her by putting her to sleep to stop her suffering any longer. Wish you all the best mate. ![]() |

| World Class | Yes,they sure are Weekender, thanks. Thanks for the message J,your fella looked like a good un too!! Just felt sick all day knowing she wouldn't be here, where she as been, for the last 14 years. She had been struggling with her back end for a while but had started going downhill quite quickly over the last week or so. her sight over the weekend just about went totally.I knew the time was right but its still so hard. Going to have a bit of re-decoration,new flooring etc to try & get things 'new' again. Strange having to feed just one dog tonight rather than two like I have for the last ten years ![]() I took her to the Pet Crem earlier so I will have her 'back' soon.Might seem a bit sentimental to some but I always said I'd take her with me when I go so I decided to have her cremated,as I will my other one, & then we'll all get scattered together, probably on the golf course, when I pop my clogs We haven't really got anyone who will come & tend to a grave so seems the logical thing. |
