I know this may appear to come across as some kind of wussiness but as a dad to a boy of similar age the advert for Christmas from John Lewis is truly heartwarming.

It's an ad peoples dream isn't it.

You can just picture them sitting around a table...someone comes up with that idea...and they realise they're sitting on one of the all time great adverts.

Someone's got a big bonus!
