Grade 1 Tipping Competition - The Jumps (UPDATED 22/03/2010) - OHR

Saw this idea on another forum and thought it went rather well, so hoping to reproduce this on here to keep things rolling during the cold winter months.

Entry Details
- Entry is free.
- The latest possible newcomer entry date is the 31st December 2009, any entries after that will be null and void.

Prize Money
- I'll throw in a £50 prize to the person with the most profit come the end of this competition, if anyone would like to top this up then please contact me via PM, it would be welcome.
- Del Boy has also added £50 into the fray so that means we now have a total prize of £100 to the winner.

How it's done
- There are 62 Grade 1 races in the UK and Ireland this jump seasons (32 UK and 30 in IRE). To be eligible for the prize money at the end of the season, you must have participated in tipping in at least 30 races throughout the season.

Stakes and Winnings
- All bets will be recorded to SP, to a 1pt win unit stake (or 0.5pt e/w if specified).
- Stakes will not be included in the totals at any point during the season, if this does appear then it is only human error that they are there.

Specials
- During the competition, you have 5 bets which can be used as 'Max Bets' these will be a stake of 5pts (or 2.5pt e/w) and will not be deducted from your overall total should they lose.

Posting Issues
- Selections must be posted at any time up until the time of the race, any selections changed or edited after the event will be deemed as void and you will be kicked out the competition.
- Any disputes then the decision by The Duke is final.

Last of all Good Luck to all who wish to enter the competition, and the first race of the season is at Down Royal this weekend.
