Makes it's racecourse debut here but with the yard in form it may well be fit enough to take this Class 5 Maiden . It's sire , ROYAL APPLAUSE , has been in the top 6 AW sires for the past 2 seasons and leads the wins/runs ratio for sires in this years list. — |

![]() An absolutely amazing record in Europe's Group 1's speaks for itself . As for Godolphin , i would be surprised if there's any change from previous years , thats to say underachieving until Royal Ascot then a steady stream of winners until the end of the season . Followed by buying , or trying to buy , the best 2yo's not owned by Ballydoyle and turning them into underachievers ![]() | ||||

They are a complete joke operation fuelled by money, and yet they still fail to produce the goods. Its a well known fact every single horse they have purchased has gone downhill or has simply not been the same since leaving previous trainer. Sin Bin (Suroor), Celebrity Dettori (Hmm Frankie) and all those towel heads with all the cash, they need to say enough is enough... They must just look at Coolmore and grit their teeth... LOL |

Cant see Godolphin being back big yet, Maybe 2 more seasons then they may takeover with there new Stallions etc producing. Or maybe just get time to get ride of Bin Laden, Not his fault that they aren't producing the big race winners on a consistent basis cos they work as a team, I think they need a head trainer who says what goes.. Think they should look for a young but established trainer who can sort them out now and for the future. ![]() |

It's surely time for them to get a top-class trainer and leave the decision making to him . But , hey , we're taking about Billionaires here and with that comes Billionaire ego's ![]() Thommo certainly has a very valid point about their buying policy and how a fair number of the animals they purchase as 2/3yo's fail to improve as you think they would in their set-up. |

| The Sex God Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Liverpool | Thats it, I just think they need a young trainer who has done very well, Like John Best would be a good trainer i think, Limited resources but gets the results at the end of the day. Many others could be put forward too. There buying policy aint great but lets face it, It happens all over the world and just not with Godolphin, But because of there success in the past with horses they've acquired they get more noticed for that. But also they spread there horses around various trainers as 2yos and they are always likely to go to Godolphin at 3. The trainers know that when they take on the 2yos & also its good for racing because I dont wanna be seeing 3 Godolphin 2yos in 1 race for example. Were as if they have the 2 other horses in that race with different trainers it makes more of an interest really. But its more seen as Godolphin buying the horse when in actual fact they either partly own or own out right the horse in the first place. Just hope its a good flat season tbh, Thought quite a few 2yos were dissapointing last year so they better improve.... ![]() |
